The severed and desecrated head of Glendon Allen thrown into the communal refrigerator. Left to remind the rest of the students and professors not to steal other people’s food for they could become a victim just like the unfortunate Mr Allen. He was last seen breathing with the rest of his body a few days prior walking through the woods out back with a small container of food and a bag of wine. Needless to say it was an easy kill. We would know who the killer is if there was a name on the lid of the container but there was not. Let that be a warning that even if there isn’t a name on the container you should never take someone else’s food. There is great debate over where the rest of his body is now. One theory is that the rest of him was eaten as it would seem fitting that the killer would want his food back or better yet Mr Allen’s meat.
"Alley Cat" Abstract wood and steel project capturing the form of a cat arching it’s back as it is about to pounce.
Cradle of MortalityIn progress. The sheets and mattress are assembled and now all I have to do is add all the bones and get the entire thing in a gallery space a week from now.
Had fun at Salt City Horror Fest and stopped at the FPL Body Art & FX table for a satisfying gash.
Full day of welding for my project in progress Cradle of Mortality
I took the plaster cast of my face and carved out the dimensions of my skull into it. I decided to leave parts of the face to keep the likeness and to make it look more gruesome when painted. Eventually I will make a mold of this and then put gory rubber heads everywhere.
I went to Relay for Life with SPIRAL and did readings to raise money.
What I have been up to today.
That is the sound of the floor boards that I sometime hear in my attic at night. Then I remember that there are no floor boards up there or any room for someone to walk around. I am then frozen in my bed wondering what sort of manifestation paces back and forth above my head in the darkest hours of the night. Crick…Crack…Creak. The footsteps go down my wall with a prominent heel to toe heel to toe. They plant themselves onto the floor of my bedroom. I see not a physical body of any type of creature with flesh but rather of the more translucent kind. Crick…Crack…Creak…I am already sitting up reaching for the light by my bed. Crick…Crack…Creak…before I could turn the plastic switch on my light the entity grabs my wrist. Crack…Thud…Shuffle…thud thud thud thud….I regain some sort of half awareness and I am being dragged down the stairs into the basement of my own childhood home. I am a college student visiting home in between semesters and I am greeted once again by the monsters under the stairs, the ghouls in the walls, and the demons that my familiar has kept away from me for all of their life. I am in their domain now and it looks like the sun won’t rise for me ever again. Crrrrreeeeaaaaaakkkk SNAP! A piece of wood breaks off one of the walls and goes through my neck… Drip Drop Drip Drop… I bleed out and become a new ghost of this old house. Crick…Crack…Creak…Crick…Crack…Creak…I am here, the one you seek…
